Closed-End Fund Advisors, has designed this webinar session in order to educate current clients and prospects about the potential benefits and risks of managed futures as a portion of their investment portfolios.

As an alternative investment asset class, managed futures are regularly used as a 10%-20% portfolio hedge in a portfolio. In other words, managed futures are a way to potentially make money independent of the global stock or bond markets.

The key benefits for managed futures:

·         High Performance Potential

·         Enhanced Portfolio Efficiency

·         Diversification

·         Low Correlation

Managed futures are an Alternative Investment Class that are widely used by institutional investors to potentially increase returns and reduce downside risk. With more than 100 Futures Exchanges worldwide, the markets are open 24 hours a day.  The fund we use is a public fund, SEC registered and provides monthly liquidity, as well as no front-end or back-end fees.

This session will cover a presentation on managed futures, as well as how a portfolio diversified into a CEFA Portfolio and managed futures would have historically fared with actual historical blended performance, and volatility figures.

For most states, in order to qualify for managed futures, you must have income of $75K a year and have net assets of $75, (CA - $250K) outside your primary home and automobiles or simply have a net worth of $250K without an income qualification.

While the fund's minimum investment is only $5,000. CEFA will allow investors to directly invests through in the fund in amounts as small as $25,000, or as a percentage 5%-30% of one of CEFA's five portfolio models. Working through CEFA reduces the fees charged for the fund by 2% - 3% a year on average.

Disclosures: According to US law, managed futures should only comprise 10%-20% of your total net worth (ex home and autos). They are not suitable for every investor, please read a prospectus before investing. Past performance cannot guarantee future results. Investments may lose value and are not FDIC insured.
